NAPWA

The Ankali Project provides emotional and social support to people living with HIV. Volunteers, backed by social workers, help maintain the well being of clients, providing someone to talk to and with whom to share social and everyday activities.

Training is provided to help volunteers gain an understanding of the issues that people living with HIV deal with, and there is a focus on the support the volunteers themselves need.
