ASHM [1]Australasian Society for HIV Medicine. The peak Australasian organisation representing the medical and health sector in HIV/AIDS and related areas. represents medical practitioners working in the HIV sector including health care workers and other graduates.
The Society is a key partner in the Australian response to HIV, hepatitis and related diseases. It works closely with government, advisory bodies, community agencies and other professional organisations.
The Society conducts a broad education program in HIV and viral hepatitis for medical practitioners, health care providers and allied health workers and manages a program of continuing medical education in HIV and viral hepatitis. ASHM hosts a national annual conference.
