A new survey for gay, bisexual or same-sex- attracted men is now underway and inviting participants to join the online study and provide information which is investigating how internet use relates to different aspects of men's social and sexual lives in order to better inform health promotion and HIV prevention activities.
The new National Centre in HIV Social Research (NCHSR [1]National Centre in HIV Social Research. Located at the University of NSW in Sydney, NCHSR conducts research which describes and analyses the social understandings, meanings and practices of peoples, institutions and communities in relation to HIV, Hepatitis C and other communicable diseases.) survey is internet based and accessible at http://www.e-male.com.au/site/ [2] where participants can also email an invite to friends who they think may wish to participate in the survey. The survey is anonymous and takes about 20 minutes to complete and has questions related to sexual relationships, friendship networks, social life, and use of the internet.
