PATSIN [2]Indigenous Positive Network. Now known as PATSIN (Positive Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Network). is the Positive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Network. It is a network comprising HIV positive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The network has existed as long as the epidemic in Australia.
PATSIN was formalised in 2003 in an arrangement with the National Association of People Living With HIV/AIDS (NAPWA) defined and lead by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV positive men and women committed to supporting each other and our communities in a collaborative response to the HIV epidemic in Australia.
NAPWA is the peak advocacy group for people living with HIV/AIDS in Australia and has always supported the Network in ensuring our voices are heard across all facets of the HIV sector.
We are very proud to present Two Songs for Healing, our first fundraising project of awareness, dedicated to all those who have lived, loved and lost loved ones to HIV/AIDS – you are not alone…
