Futures 5: an improving picture, but only just

People living with HIV are doing better on treatments and are more likely to be in employment than they were two years ago, but many are still living in poverty and increasingly concerned about the long-term impact of HIV treatments, according to the latest HIV Futures report.

Changes coming for Positive Living in 2007

For more than 15 years, Positive Living has been an important source of information for positive people in Australia. From next year, important changes are planned that will ensure the publication’s long-term viability and improve the range and timeliness of information NAPWA provides.

Improved Kaletra listed on the PBS

A new, more convenient and better-tolerated version of the protease inhibitor Kaletra (lopinavir/ritonavir) is now available for S100 prescription on the PBS. The new formulation comes in tablet form, requires no refrigeration and reduces the number of pills taken per day from six to four.
