A short course, held in collaboration with the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM), providing an overview of current experience of HIV in Australia and the region. Included is an introduction to the basic science associated with HIV including, transmission and viral reproduction, intracellular activity and implications for untreated and treated disease.
