1. What is women@ozpoz.org?
women@ozpoz.org is a new national email network for Australian HIV positive women, a project of the National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS, through the NAPWA Positive Women’s Network.
2. What’s it for?
This is an email network run by positive women, for positive women. HIV positive women across Australia are welcome to join. The email list is meant to provide a safe, confidential environment where women can share their stories, questions, the ups and downs of living with HIV with other positive women.
3. Who runs it?
women@ozpoz is an initiative of the National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS. The list is owned and moderated by NAPWA, and hosted by ozpoz.org, an email project operated by an HIV positive gay man. women@ozpoz is his way of offering support to HIV positive women across Australia. Neither NAPWA nor the owner of the ozpoz domain can have any access to the information shared or posted on the email list.
4. How do you guarantee my privacy?
Women@ozpoz is a closed list. To become a member, you need to be signed up. You’ll be asked to confirm that you’re a positive woman, as well as to consider some rules and protocols about the list, which you’ll need to agree to if you want to join. All information, including your email address and name, is kept strictly confidential, and used only for the purposes of joining you up to the list.

In addition, the Moderators of the list, who are HIV positive women, have the ability to remove anyone from the list who breaches anyone’s confidentiality.
