NAPWA represented at National Human Rights Consultation Committee meeting

NAPWA’s Deputy Director, Dr John Rule, along with representatives from GBLTI organisations, attended a meeting with Mary Kostakidis and Father Frank Brennan of the National Human Rights Consultation Committee (NHRCC).

NAPWA used the opportunity to present its concerns around issues of stigma and discrimination, and the criminalisation of HIV transmission.

The NHRCC will report to the Federal Attorney General at the end of September.
