NAPWA is proud to unveil its brand new website.
After months of review, discussion and development, we have revamped our website for the first time in four years – reorganising content, improving navigation and expanding the most extensive and reliable website for people living with HIV in Australia.
We hope you like our new website, which integrates content from the Treataware and NAPWA websites and improves the linkages between various types of content. In particular, we're proud of our new HIV Treatments Database, and of the integration of the HIV Clinical Trials Database (formerly on treataware.info) into the new NAPWA website. You'll also find an expanded Services Directory, with links to organisations and services relevant to people with HIV in all states and territories.
The website has been designed to highlight the linkages between different kinds of content – HIV treatments information, service providers, published content from Positive Living and other publications, and of course NAPWA's work across a diverse portfolio of issues affecting people living with HIV/AIDS.
We're reorganised the site under three distinct headings – Living with HIV, Treating HIV and Defeating HIV – which reflect the challenges faced by people with HIV and NAPWA's response.
As always, we've tried hard to make our site accessible to people with disabilities and compatible with all commonly-used browsers and operating systems. At the same time we've taken advantage of newer technologies and social networking tools like our twitter feed to stay in touch with people living with HIV, no matter where they are.
Please take the time to explore the new napwa.org.au and see all that it has to offer. If you love it, if you hate it, if you experience any problems accessing it, or if you have any suggestions or feedback, please use this form, or just email paul@napwa.org.au.
